When you are in a relationship and are having issues with communication, there are a few things that you can do so that you do not have to expose your kids to any of the arguments. I would suggest that you either learn to practice communicating calmly without raising your voice which could have an impact on your kids. You can also go see a therapist to provide a safe place for you to go and work on your issues in an open forum. I would try everything that you possibly can to try to resolve these issues because from experience, the issues do not get any better with time when you avoid them. Try to figure out what is causing the distance between you two and then take that out of the equation. There is a chance that you are both overwhelmed with work and the kids so a weekend getaway could be the best answer for you. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you both get better soon!
