A relationship can work even if you have different views on how to raise your children. The key to any good relationship is communication, and when you first start a relationship talking about your feelings and opinions will help lay a strong foundation. Many couples will have different opinions on how to raise children but being able to compromise will help grow their relationship, and just because you have one particular idea of how you think children should be raised when you are dating, doesn’t necessarily mean that is how you will raise them in the future. When a couple doesn’t have children, they don’t know how they will react to things until they actually have children. Everyone has opinions on how kids should be raised, but they change their minds while they are raising them. I know my husband and I don’t always agree on everything when it comes to our children, but having another person to give you other ideas is always healthy.
