Many women are so caught up in the life they have with their spouse, that even if they found out he was cheating she would try a blind eye to it. If they have children, she may not want to mess up their lives by possibly leaving the cheating spouse. This is a personal choice and I really feel like they shouldn’t be judged for making it. She may feel that a two parent home, no matter how deceitful it maybe is better than a single parent home. Many women are too afraid to step out of a familiar situation into one that she would have not control over and one that she would lose all of the things she counts on. She may also think the affair is a temporary thing, and it will end and as long as he was still coming home to her, they could make the marriage work.
